A potential Earth Form for Ironhide, that could have been: tfwiki.net/wiki/File:Animated_… www.tfw2005.com/boards/attachm… Had a fourth season of Animated gone into production, Ironhide and Jazz would have joined Optimus Prime's team, replacing Bulkhead and the dead Prowl. In doing so, he would have gained a vehicle mode that would have been a mix of Ironhide's various incarnations, blending the cannons and pick-up truck alt. mode of his Movieverse counterpart with the coloration and windshield-faceguard of his G1 incarnation. Back then, I do recall doing the occasional practice-sketches for Ironhide in the past. But I'd say this is my first "proper" drawing of him, AND in that recently discovered "Earth Mode" as well.
I mean c'mon, who wouldn't prefer this look to his Pre-Earth "Ratchet retool"? I mean look at those cannons!

it sucks season 4 got cancelled. Look at this man! Ironhide was gonna join team prime and have this amazing fusion of g1 and movieverse ironhide!
He would have been amazing especially seeing him and bumblebee become friends after the events of autoboot camp and ironhide being the one to redeem wasp! I would have love this version of ironhide if season 4 came out!
Atleast I gave him justice in my own season 4 roleplays with my pal mikonchick
