After the incident with the giant drone, Von Ness went rogue and stole the Hero Craft that their team came in, and along with that, he captured his human partner Janet. Sharing the same sense of hatred that Janet has, he knew he had to find a way to make them both more powerful, even if it took some difficulties for Janet to cooperate. Von Ness went first as soon as they both discovered a powerful black hole, which was strong enough to increase his Quaza power, and even his body. And thus, Von Nebula was born, much to Janet's shock.
